These beautiful wooden pieces were pretty raw when we got them. The wood’s quality was superb and was a joy to work with. The only difficulty was that the pulls are permanent. I wish all furniture we restored was this high of quality!
Kitchen Cabinets
These cabinets had the factory finish and were very high quality when they were new. These were actually done in a “one-step” latex, sealed with clear wax and then distressed with black wax. The island was finished in a custom gray with no distressing. The hardware is the original, just painted and sealed.
Beautiful Blue Desk and Small Dresser
These are very unique and have fun inset pulls. The paint used was a navy chalk paint with a high-gloss polyurethane top coat
Elegant Storage Cabinet
This cabinet was part of 4 semi-matching pieces. This one had very little pre-work, but 1 pull and 2 hinges were broken and being their inset, there was no replacing the hardware. One pull needed soldered and looks fine, but is non-functioning. We also used a water based semi-gloss enamel that leveled out beautifully.
Framed White Decorative Mirror
This old antique framed mirror took many coats, but after the black wax was added, it came out perfect! This was done in chalk paint.
